Ceremonial Grade Cacao Chia Pudding

A Rich Flavour

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1 cup almond milk (or any preferred milk)
  • 2 tablespoons ceremonial grade cacao powder
  • 1-2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt


Instructions:

  • In a bowl or jar, combine the chia seeds, almond milk, ceremonial grade cacao powder, maple syrup or honey, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
  • Whisk or stir the mixture thoroughly to ensure the cacao powder is well incorporated.
  • Let the mixture sit for about 5 minutes, then stir it again to prevent clumping.
  • Cover the bowl or jar and refrigerate it for at least 2-3 hours, or ideally overnight, allowing the chia seeds to absorb the liquid and thicken.
  • Before serving, give the pudding a good stir. If it's too thick, you can add a bit more milk to reach your desired consistency.
  • Serve the ceremonial grade cacao chia pudding with toppings like fresh berries, sliced bananas, shredded coconut, or a sprinkle of additional cacao powder for extra flavour.
